Tedooo draws it in acrylic in about a minute; we make the one you approve, and it is with you in about five weeks. Made to order from your photo: Custom Acrylic Portrait. ## Our work URL: https://www.acrylune.com/about One small studio. How a portrait is cut, lettered and sealed, and what to know before you order one. A print behind a sheet of plastic is flat. Ours is not a print: the portrait is sculpted in glossy cut glass and shaped into a relief, so it stands up off the panel and throws its own small shadow. Move past it and the light moves across the face. The clear acrylic frame holds it a little off the wall on four corner standoffs. On a piece made from your own photo, a name or a quote can go under it, if you ask for one. Made here, sold through Tedooo Acrylune sells through Tedooo, which takes the payment, keeps the tracking and runs the preview that shows your photo in cut glass before we make it. Your card goes to Tedooo, not to us, and the order is theirs to protect until the piece is on your wall. Questions about an order after it ships, where it is or what to do if the box arrives damaged, are answered in the Tedooo help centre, and tracking takes the order number from your confirmation. ## Shipping, returns and care URL: https://www.acrylune.com/about Size & materials: Sizes: 30 × 30 or 50 × 50 cm; Portrait: Glossy cut glass, in relief; Frame: Clear acrylic, polished edges; Fittings: Four corner standoffs, ready to hang; Name: Optional on a piece made from your photo Shipping: Made and packed in our studio, its corners protected, and tracked end to end. It reaches most addresses in about five weeks. The estimate for yours is shown before you pay. Before you buy: Made for one person, so it is not returnable. Ask us anything before you buy and we will answer properly, usually the same day. The approved design is what we make. Hanging & care: It arrives ready to hang on its four corner standoffs, which hold it a little off the wall. Dust it with a soft dry microfibre cloth; no glass cleaner, alcohol or paper towels on the acrylic, which cloud and scratch it. Keep it out of hours of strong direct sun. ## Questions What makes a good photo to send?: One subject, or two or three close together, roughly facing the camera, with their eyes visible. Daylight helps. It does not need to be sharp; most of what we work from is a phone photo of a dog on a sofa. What we cannot work from is a subject facing away, or a whole crowd in one frame. What is it made of?: Tedooo's design technology draws it from your photo, and you approve it before anything happens. Then it is made: the portrait is sculpted in glossy cut glass, shaped into a relief that stands up off the panel, and sealed inside a crystal-clear acrylic frame with polished edges. It is not a print behind a sheet of plastic. Which size should I pick?: It comes 30 × 30 or 50 × 50 cm. The 30 suits a hallway, a shelf or the wall by the stairs; the 50 holds its own above a sofa or a sideboard. Can I add a name?: Yes. Type up to 20 characters under your photo, a name or two or a short line, and it is set under the portrait in raised lettering. Or add a quote of up to 80 characters. If it comes back with something you did not ask for, change it and draw it again. It stays free until you approve one. Can I send it as a gift?: Yes, and most of what we make leaves as one. Put their address at checkout and it goes straight to them. For Christmas, order by 15 November. How do I look after it?: Dust it with a soft dry microfibre cloth. Keep glass cleaner, alcohol and paper towels away from the acrylic: they cloud it and leave fine scratches. A wall out of hours of strong direct sun is kindest to it. ## Policies Shipping & delivery — https://www.acrylune.com/about#shipping Returns & made-to-order — https://www.acrylune.com/about#returns Hanging & care — https://www.acrylune.com/about#care Track your order — https://www.tedooo.com/track-order Privacy — https://www.tedooo.com/privacy Terms — https://www.tedooo.com/terms Accessibility — https://www.tedooo.com/help
